Bring Bruce Home - URGENT APPEAL

A WONDERFUL UPDATE ON BRUCE! (crossposted from info posted on Rescue Helpers Unite)

We are very happy to be able to share the news that Bruce will be soon be free! He will be released to a Rescue (EGAR) in Ireland where he can live happily & legally.

 

"Yes, the solicitor called me yesterday at 11 a.m. to let me know the judge decided to release him to me...A LOT of work behind the scene went into this judgement and I am happy about the outcome.


I will update as it progresses."


We are quite frankly over the moon for poor Bruce, his owner and everyone who's worked so hard for him! Well done for getting him out of what honestly looked like a hell hole.

Bruce update-reply from north down council today; 'A further appeal is due to be heard in the County Court on Tuesday 9 March 2010.'

Update 16th September 2009:

 

Bruce's owner appealed and her case was heard at the Court of Appeal on 14th September 2009. A further hearing is to be arranged but has not yet had a date set. We will update as soon as we hear further.

HELP TO BRING BRUCE HOME

 

This dog is not a stray but he desperately needs our help. Once again Breed Specific Legislation rears it's very ugly head. Incarcerated for almost 2 years simply because of his breed - this dog needs to go home!
