Subject: Dogs needeing places now

Dear Helen

Please can you put an appeal out for these dogs especially the poor American Bull dog Terrier girl who will be put to sleep if we can’t find a rescue place before Wednesday. If anyone can give a place to any of the others it will create places and save other dogs at risk. Please can you put the ABT out now as this is really the 11th hour for her. This is her last chance. Please also say that there are other dogs needing urgent places including a Collie, a female Rottie, SBTs and a cross breed puppy etc.

If anyone could help with kenneliing fees please if no rescue places are available.

Many thanks
Julia

5886 American Bulldog Female- 2yrs approx. White, large size. DUE FOR PUT TO SLEEP ON WEDNESDAY MORNING!! NEEDS TO BE SAVED BY TOMORROW NIGHT (TUESDAY).

5941- Cross Breed male 4-5 mths approx. Tan/White medium size. A very young and lively boy who craves attention. He is still a puppy and needs some firm but fair training. He has been really friendly and fussy with everyone he has met at the kennels although he does still puppy nip when excited.

5923-Mastiff type male 3yrs approx. Brindle, large size. This boy has been a big softie in kennels. He is vocal in his kennel but just wants your attention. He tries to stay clean inside.

5947-Rottweiler female. 4yrs approx. Black & tan, medium size. This girl has been very timid and nervous of strangers in kennels. She has slowly come around with the staff at the kennels, has been really sweet, affectionate and friendly and is very food orientated – she has shown signs of food guarding whilst been in kennels. She came to the kennels really underweight and in need of a good diet to get her back to her right weight.

5922-SBT male. 2yrs approx. Tan & white. Medium size. Another chunky Staffie who has been no trouble in kennels. He has not shown any aggression towards people or other dogs and has been fine with everyone he has met in kennels. He knows some basic commands but takes a while to respond to them due to being very excitable. He tries to stay clean inside. Will need plenty of exercise.

5920- SBT male. 2yrs approx. Black/Brindle. Small size. No problems have been seen in kennels with anyone he has met. He has been no trouble to handle. He does bark at other dogs in kennels if they bark at him and is unknown how he would be with other dogs out of the kennel environment. Still quite playful and puppy like from time to time.

5945-Border Collie male 5yrs old. Red & white, large size. This lovely boy has been at the kennels several times before and has always been really affectionate and friendly towards everyone he meets. He tries to stay clean inside. He has a lovely thick fluffy coat. He seems to be a little bit bigger than your average Collie.

Cross Breed, female. Under 12 mths approx. Black, small size.Very petite little girl who has been timid and a little shy of the lead in kennels. She is starting to come around more and is happy to be in the outside kennels where she tries to instigate play with the dogs next door. She is quite timid of strangers and a little jumpy, therefore needs gentle and not full on handling if she doesn’t know you. She seems to still need some training with her basic commands.
